Draw records and history

WinnerSelect writes a timestamped record whenever a draw completes - an account of the draw that does not depend on screenshots, manual notes or someone remembering to save the details.

Draw name
what the draw was called
Method
name and entry selection, or number selection
Entry-pool size
how many entries the draw ran over
Pool fingerprint
a fingerprint of the locked pool, taken before the draw
Result
who or what was selected
Time
when the draw ran

Your recent draws, in one place

Completed draws are kept together in your account, so a previous result is easy to find when an entrant, a client or a colleague asks.

Records export as CSV for your own reporting and filing.

What is kept, and what is not

The record of a completed draw is permanent. The entrant list is not part of it.

The entrant list is not kept: the names, the addresses, the personal data that was only ever needed to run the draw. What stays is the shape of the pool and its fingerprint, not the people in it.

  • The draw, the method, the pool size, the pool fingerprint, the result and the time are retained.
  • The entrant list is not part of the permanent record.
  • Entrant lists are deleted 90 days after the draw.
  • The winning entry (the ticket number and name, or the phone number) is kept permanently as part of the draw record.
  • The fingerprint still lets the pool the draw ran over be checked against the file you uploaded.
